During Brayden’s recent 10 month photoshoot that we were casually holding in the morning light of his bedroom, Aliyah was fascinated with the camera.
At first she just wanted to pose and gave a disgruntled shrug when I said we had to take Brayden’s photo first. As she flung her body off the rocking chair, he started following her lead and wanted to climb down as well, but she gave him a perky little pep talk from behind the camera that grabbed his attention and kept him in place.
Then it was her turn. To pose. And she rocked it.
But the real moment of joy came when I handed her my camera, at her request, and let her get snap happy with her trigger finger with the lens set on Brayden and I.
His cuddles continually slay me. 
The point? I don’t really have one, besides the fact that my girl is falling into a deep love with photography, just like her mama. She’s growing up.
