These are my babies.
My precious, growing, cute-as-a-button babies. Well, besides the ones that I birthed. They happen to be a bit cuter, and they also took a little bit more work to bring into this world.
I don’t know if it’s the fact that I recently brought a baby into this world or what, but my maternal instincts are kickin’ in on this one.
That’s the best explanation I can come up with for thinking these are just too adorable. I just want to eat it right up… metaphorically that is. I’m not sure how I’ll ever eat it. I’ve named this one Lorenzo.
Larry was just a little too obvious.
Even though these little babies are cute enough to name, when full grown, that newborn cuteness wears off. I think I’ll have no problem eating them then.
Good thing the cuteness never wears off the babies that I birthed.
And talking about being cute… upon hearing a conversation between Chris and I about our little “animal problem,” meaning a little cottontail has been helping himself to feasts of lettuce, broccoli and green beans, our little shadow was busy coming up with a solution.
“Mama, what do tigers eat?” She asked with a shy, but secure smile.
“They like meat, sometimes they eat little animals.” I replied. The look on her face exposed how tickled pink she was over my answer.
“We should get a Tiger to eat the animals that are eating our plants,” she retorted.
I think she’s onto something.
