My spot… the soft, tender covers that drape across my sleeping babe’s eyes. And when I touch them with a gentle kiss, the edges of her lips turn up just so, a sleepy half smile to let me know she loves me back. It’s my spot, a favorite place for my puckered up smile to visit while my little’s heavy breaths, that fall just shy of a snore, ring out. In fact, I think it’s time for a little rendezvous with those precious pale lavenders… on both of my babes.
