Time to dance a little jig. Time to round up a quote, one that moves you… to tears or laughter, to smile or roll your eyes, to snort or jiggle. Time to share it!
And okay, maybe you don’t want to snort or jiggle. I don’t have a choice on the jiggle part. I jiggle.
Here we go, link up your Sunday Citar today and join the fun!
Citar means “to quote” in Spanish.
“Home, the spot of earth supremely blest, A dearer, sweeter spot than all the rest.”
~Robert Montgomery
My mind is swirling around in a little bit of a Nyquil fog, of course only after nursing my babe to sleep, in some sort of attempt to sleep the remainder of whatever-this-is off so I can go back to being a fully present mama. So before I faceplant into my pillow quicker than the night steals across the sky, I’m attempting to pluck out a few words and string them together into something somewhat coherent. And the word that comes to the forefront with every attempt? Home. There is something magical about that little word; home. Something sweet that emanates and pulls us into it’s embrace not found beyond it’s sacred walls.
And that’s what I’ve been cherishing even in through the thousand pounds of head pressure… the sacred moments of playing blocks with my baby boy, and letting my girl paint a splotchy pink masterpiece on my toenails, by far the best pedicure ever.

The Be Koool Soft Gel Sheetsthat the kids are wearing have been a lifesaver this weekend.
Enjoying our hallowed halls of chasing excited little kittens through the purple doors of a dollhouse and playing Candyland with a little girl who likes to trade her gamepiece with whoever is in the lead.
But that’s only the first time through, after that her goal is to try and let you win. Maybe her pity kicked in after the first round.
“Home, the spot of earth supremely blest, A dearer, sweeter spot than all the rest.”
