I don’t think I’ve seen a child who bangs his head more than this little one of mine. My precious little adventurous soul who loves to dance and run… and keep up with big sister. And sometimes things just get in the way. Like a cold, hard edge of a tiled bath. Baby boy earned his first shiner, and each day paints just a bit more color to the canvas around his eye, though I know it’ll soon start fading.
I’m learning that having a boy adds a few more stops to my favorite part of our evening routine that I always ramble on about… extended kisses and hugs, rocking and cuddling. Because for him? There are definitely more boo-boos to kiss away, and I always, always do.

Love this photo – the expression on his little face, the drops of water…and the boo boo! I used to talk to angels and tell them where to stand in my house (around the coffee table, at the bottom of the stairs etc.) cause I had one runnin’ and jumpin’ little boy!! Angels help, I promise!!

He is so precious! I can’t believe he got his first black eye. You aren’t kidding about the energy, right? When Kaish was young I used to be in AWE of the difference between my best friends daughter and Kaish. He was non stop action and energy.

Oh my goodness, what a boo boo! I feel the same way about my youngest son. He bands his head and face ALL the time. As we speak he too is sporting a black eye.

Ouch!! Poor baby! It’s the same with my younger son too and it was always the same spot that got cut or bruised.
