“If you’re alive, you can’t be bored in San Francisco. If you’re not alive, San Francisco will bring you to life.”
~William Saroyan
“When you get tired of walking around San Francisco, you can always lean against it”
~Author Unknown
“San Francisco itself is art, above all literary art. Every block is a short story, every hill a novel. Every home a poem, every dweller within immortal. That is the whole truth.”
~William Saroyan
“The San Francisco Bay Area [is] the playpen of countercultures.”
~R. Z. Sheppard
It was a fun city, a delightful place to be with my husband, and yes, much walking. Even more delightful than the glorious city, is seeing my family… my precious Baby Blue today!

Oh the switchback road in San Francisco! Beautiful area…
I remember visiting SF often, and learning that you WILL get ticketed there if you don’t turn your car wheels the correct direction when parking your car on their hills. Several cars have rolled down the hill into houses all because they didn’t turn their wheels to the curb. Yes, you guessed it – I got a ticket for not doing that… but I didn’t hit any houses.
By the way, daring picture of you sitting in a glass BOTTOM chair. You look gorgeous!

SF is one of my favorite cities to visit – so much to do and see and it just has such a great feel to it. And I love getting fresh crab anywhere I go. You have brought some very pleasant images and memories to me – thanks!!!
And – have fun with your family.

I’ve never been to SF. I’ve only visited southern Ca. I have heard they are quite different from one another…southern vs. central Ca. Beautiful pictures…you always amaze me at the shots you capture! Enjoy your family and being home!

the pics are fantastic but i feel ya the most on seeing the baby…when you’re at home with them all day you hunger for a little time away, little being the operative word…i love to get out alone but about twenty minutes or so from home my heart beats faster and i rush up the stairs to see that adorable face waiting anxiously just for me. welcome home woman! blessings…

San Fran is one of my favorite cities ever!!! I was there a couple months ago for work and only got to spend about 2 hrs at Fisherman’s Wharf. I have been there several times and always want to go back. LOVE the pictures as usual!!

Hi Tabitha-
Loved these pics…can you spare a tip? I have a devil of a time with low light indoor shots, especially those with any motion…I especially like the one of you next to the plantation shutters…can you tell me what settings you used (even roughly) to get that shot without a flash? I have a Nikon D50 if it helps you at all direct me…
Thanks so much!
