I’ve never been a huge resolution maker, especially of the kind about weight or time in the gym. But I do like to give myself a fair share of goals, something that will always help the new year find me a better woman.

I agree about resolutions. New Years is my birthday, so it is always a good time to reflect and look forward to change, but it is so important to focus on the journey and not just the destination. Too much time is waisted waiting for the ‘someday’.

i’ve been to yours before, but probably haven’t commented because maybe i felt intimidated by all the talent?! whatever…call it a resolution, goal, new leaf, yada-yada…in 2009, i’m attempting not to spend so much time measuring myself against others and more time focusing on the gifts i HAVE been blessed with…otherwise i think i’m in great danger of seeming quite the ungrateful wretch!
that being said…i absolutely adore your blog and have decided to deprive myself of it not a minute longer.

I’ve never been big on resolution either. Although this year, I do plan on worrying less about things I can’t control. What’s the point in that anyway? Right now, I’m just looking for ways to be a better mom and wife!
