Along with the territory of what seems like living on the road lately, is easy access to junk food and consequently not-as-easy access to healthier fare. Which means adding just a little extra real estate to my waistline before suiting up for my littlest’s indoor waterpark birthday party. But so much more than junk food comes with learning the terrain of new places and finding that perfect art of transforming hotel rooms into a cozy home away from home without packing over the weight limit.
One of the good things? Milestones! Milestones had on ugly green carpet, strewn with toys with the scent of home still lurking on them, a scene that will be burned into our memory forever. Milestones like Brayden’s first steps! I promised I’d try to catch a clip of it, and here it is.
And if you ever find yourself in a hotel room with kids that have just a little extra energy to burn off, send them to the halls and let them loose!
I can’t stop laughing at Aliyah wiping out at the very beginning of this clip in the far background while pushing her dolly’s stroller.
Have a fabulous weekend enjoying the little things… whether it be home or in your home away from home.
Oh! And until March 14, you can get a B1G1 from Picaboo! So get your pictures together and click below for the special deal for Fresh Mommy readers.

YEAH!!! Hang to your hats, and let the fun begin! Wednesday Lucas figured out how to climb into the chair…and JUMP. And then, the couch..AND THEN the dining room chairs.. AND THEN Ethan’s desk chair, onto his desk and hung from his blinds. I gave birth to a monkey. Hmm… that might be my next post, lol! Can’t wait till you guys get home!
