The ironic thing about travel is that I can tend to miss the adventure when home, and of course, miss home while away. But I have to say, right now I’m enjoying the in-between. The sweet spot of that pendulum swing where home again feels just rightβ¦ and thankfully so. Upon my last return, I came home to a couple of sick little ones, and then caught the bug myself. Now, finally recuperated, we’re getting into the Christmas spirit and finding our routine again. And while I haven’t been taking too many photos as of late (the short space between the bed and restroom doesn’t always make for the best photos), I’ve snapped a couple here and there…

Ha! I live in Florida, so we don’t have it hereβ¦ but while I was in Phoenix, I found a winter wonderland downtown with snow outside!! I don’t know how they kept it up, but it sure was fun π

the sickies got us here too. And then a real funk descended upon me. But we are all starting to feel on the mend, and I am certain that decorating this house in all things Christmas is the best cure for a pre-season funk.

we went to visit relatives in Massachusetts for Thanksgiving and was greeted with 2 days of snow. living in VA now we hardly get any. I don’t miss it – lol
