… I was ready for a little peace and calm in my day.
Because big, beautiful rays of light shining down help settle me on days when I feel behind. And feeling behind is not something that I take very well because being behind is one giant, rolling snowball. One that rolls and rolls, faster and faster as it grows and collects more junk and to-do’s along the way. And it’s easier to just call it a snow day, hibernate in bed with my littles and cry and let the snow bury us in deeper… because I’ve decided it’s the mature thing to do.
(I apologize for the snow references, Nanny McPhee is playing in the background and the end scene in the snow must’ve done something to my psyche.)
Today, though, I didn’t cry. Today I’ve been wiping noses and taking care of my littles who need a mama and lots of love. With that said… I hope these warm rays brings a little peace and calm to your day as well.
