I {heart} faces

This week at ‘i heart faces’ it’s about the ‘Creative Crop.’  I think this is such a great theme… and important for any photography lover to learn.  I usually crop my photos first just in the viewfinder of my camera.  I think it’s so much more interesting for the subject to be off-center.  There are still many times, though, that I crop afterward… here’s an example:

AFTER: Extra cropping gives the subject, this gorgeous baby, more focus on the face and those beautiful eyes.

BEFORE: I shot the original photo with some off-center cropping, to give a bit more interest.
