His feet bounced in true “Happy Feet” fashion as he waited for the final screws to hold his new haven in place, then quickly clamored his unsteady body up and over the front. It was his space, his big boy space. And it was a superb delivery into 2012, encasing all that this turn of the calendar meant; growing, changing, the air charged with a whirl of excitement.
His first night was a success, my boy is growing up.

wow – big bed already, that’s awesome! You’ve got me thinking that maybe we should get ours going soon too. But right now he’s happy with his bed and he hasn’t tried to climb out of it once (which surprises me). 🙂
