Brayden, my happy baby boy, you are a blissful ray of sunshine infused into our family. Your smiles are pure magic, your laughs are contagious, and they are many. And today, as your turn five months, you are in the throws of pilates, stretching with legs straight up into the air, grabbing at your toes with the best of em’. Sometimes, when you get really excited those outstretched little legs go right into bicycles moves. You little pilates rockstar.
I relish the moments where I just hold you close, our eyes locked, lips turned upward into a smile until our cheeks hurt… and I cry. Beautiful, happy, delightful tears.
You are fascinated with your fingers, crossing them, looking at them, sucking on them. All forms of playing with your fingers suffice. And it’s darling. Completely darling.

I simply cannot believe it’s been 5 months! I’m so glad you’ve been able to enjoy motherhood a second time around and that he’s a good baby! I think that’s always such a huge blessing!

Our babies are 5 months old..which means they are almost 6 months old..which is HALF a year..OMG! You are right, his laugh is contagious
