It’s not hard for me to wax on about my littles, and I’m sure come across as the annoying party-goer that can’t stop talking about themselves… even when everyone is beginning to roll their eyes and cough under their breath, trying to find a way to interrupt this conversation thief. And though the entire party has heard the story about fifty times already, there’s still one way, a better way to tell it so that everyone can feel it too. Right? And it really is totally annoying.
So today, I’ll just say this. I LOVE this little guy, and this weekend we added another sturdy number one to that first number one, making him all of eleven months. I almost can’t feel the difference between that first one and this double digit, because right from the beginning, he was so infused into our lives. But here we are, still breathing in the blessing that is Brayden. We laugh when he pretends to drop something on the floor and lets out a shy smile as he says Uh Ah. We brim with pride as he attempts one little step at a time, sometimes making it and sometimes not. We melt into a pile of mush as he gives us what we call a Love Bug Hug, where we wraps his arms around our necks, lays his head on us and lets out a jibber-jabbery I la la (I love you.)
A birthday is peeking out from around the corner, and plans are being laid. A very, very big number ONE is on it’s way!

And speaking of birthdays, my fabulous girl’s Wonderland party was featured today by my new friend Emily at WhipperBerry!

I wished I had the energy and time to snap photos at each month intervals, with a special prop like you have. But by the time you did this, I’d have already missed the chance to do it for TO and OJ, so I let Evie go on by without it as well.
He is so adorable, and growing into a boy face with each passing month. It’s always so cute to see, but so sad to dwell on. It goes so fast.
I love the family photo at the top, by the way. 🙂 It’s been awhile since I’ve made my rounds….life. Eh.

Love it! We’ve done the same thing with both of our kids. My son had an elephant (he’s almost 5 now) and my daughter has a big pink bear (she’s 5 months).
Super cute!
(Came from WhipperBerry…love the party too!)

I’m doing this with my daughter, she’ll be one in a week. I did it with her teddy. I need to go through them and get them edited for her birthday.

SO cute! It’s always really neat to watch babies grow over time and see how they change from newborns to children. 🙂
