I’m not typically the person with every Christmas card mailed out early. In fact, I’m usually hurrying to get all of it done, from the photos, the design, the printing, addressing and mailing. Goodness, there is a lot that goes into a Christmas card. But also? Some of the best things in life take a little effort right… and when we start receiving bit of mail and photos from friends and family across the globe, it means SO much to me! So, I don’t mind putting in a little effort into posting them myself as well.
This year I started early with Minted and now I’m already stuffing our cards into envelopes! Thankfully I had all of your help in choose a design, and in the end it came down to the find it fast option that Minted offers, meaning you can upload a photo and browse through their designs while seeing how your photo looks in each one! Plus, we uploaded our address list with their address assistant, and our envelopes are printed and ready to go! I’m so happy with the thick stock and matte finish of our Christmas cards… and now it’s all about getting comfy and cozy on the couch, maybe to a Lifetime holiday movie or a new show (any recommendations?!) and sealing them up! And by the way, we had SO much fun during our Christmas card photoshoot this year. We were in our happy place, okay well, it’s totally MY happy place and as long as my kids don’t find the pickers that grow in the brush then it’s theirs too. We did, however, find a few pickers along the way, and I found myself doubled over in the sand in laughter at the scene unfolding before me, think three kids screaming/crying for different reasons but all at the same time while we tote a Christmas tree around the beach. Save those crazy few moments, we really did have a blast and there are SO many photos that I just want to plaster around the universe. Since that’s not possible and since no one really wants to see pictures of us that much, I’ll just plaster them here… or at least a handful of our out takes from our fun, crazy Christmas beach day. 😉

These are so cute and I love the collage you made on the back of the card, what a great way to show all those fun pictures! I look forward every year to doing our Christmas cards. I am especially excited because this year we get to use pictures from our beach maternity session at Folly Beach!

Oh that sounds like a great shoot for your family as well!! We loved ours at the beach, and yeah I totally needed a collage on the back, there were just too many to choose from 😉
