He said he would never move away again without marrying her first, and here he was, just days before the move and as she looked down at her finger… there was still no ring.
She kept denying his request for a dinner out, for one thing she was too sick to even think about getting dressed up and going out, and for another? She didn’t want to hear any more about the new city he would call home in a mere few days… without her. But he persuaded, and persuaded, and finally she gave in.
After dinner at one of their favorite restaurants, they sat on the bench that has been home to numerous heartfelt conversations, dreams and kisses. But this time? Brittney looked at Timothy, and instead of sliding a little closer for her to rest those blonde locks on his shoulder or leaning in to whisper promises of love in her ear, he was on his knees, with the ring she longed to see adorn her finger held out in a little black box.
This past weekend, Tim flew home for about 36 hours to hug his dad for Father’s Day, snuggle his soon-to-be bride and sneak in a quick engagement session. And after three months apart? This session was full of nothing but smiles… and kisses.
Brittney wanted a slight urban vibe to the shoot, and was hoping to find some train tracks, so we started out in a quaint little downtown area. The buildings proved to be our saving grace, because the only time we had with them was in the bright of mid-day.
We were hot, trying to avoid sweating, ducking the sun and laughing. Laughing a lot.
Britt and Tim, you guys were amazing, we had such a great time with you and can’t wait to shoot your wedding in just a couple of short weeks!
