If you’ve been around here for a while, you already know that I believe a good food board can make any moment feel like an occasion. Brunch on a Tuesday? Board it. Afternoon snack with the kids? Board it. Easter gathering with the whole crew? Absolutely, one hundred percent, board it.
The last few springs I’ve been having so much fun putting together different versions of charcuterie boards that feel fresh and seasonal, and I’ve been sharing them over on Instagram as part of our A Lil’ Spring Magic series. Today I’m pulling all four together in one place so you have everything you need to recreate any (or all!) of them.

And if you’re already in a spring DIY mood, make sure you check out [this post] where I rounded up three of my favorite spring projects, including a simmer pot, pressed flower bookmarks, and the cutest flower pot snack cups. But first, let’s talk boards!

Spring Cream Cheese Board
This one stopped people in their tracks on Instagram and honestly, I get it. It looks like something you’d see at a fancy boutique bakery, but it’s made with Philadelphia No-Bake Cheesecake cream cheese and a regular wooden board. That’s the magic of it.
The idea is simple: you spread the cream cheese into flower petal shapes right on the board using the back of a spoon, add a little dollop of jam in the center of each flower, and then fill in the rest of the board with all your favorite dippers. It’s equal parts stunning and delicious.
What You’ll Need
- Philadelphia No-Bake Cheesecake Cream Cheese (the secret ingredient!)
- Strawberry, Raspberry or Apricot jam
- Pretzels
- Apple slices
- Crackers
- Grapes
- Nilla wafers or graham crackers
- A wood charcuterie board
- A gold spoon or small offset spatula for spreading
How To Build It
Soften your cream cheese slightly so it spreads easily. Using the back of a spoon, scoop and drag the cream cheese out into petal shapes on the board, aim for five or six petals per flower, working from the outside in. Add a small spoonful of jam right in the center of each flower. From there, it’s just about filling in the spaces around your flowers with your dippers. Pretzels and apple slices tuck in beautifully, and a little cluster of grapes adds a nice pop of color.
Pro tip: Work with slightly softened cream cheese and take your time on the petals, the slower you go, the cleaner the shape. A chilled board also helps keep everything firm while you work.

Spring Breakfast Brunch Board
This is the board I want sitting on my kitchen counter every single Saturday morning for the rest of spring. It’s fresh, it’s beautiful, and it genuinely has something for everyone, whether you’re in a savory mood or a sweet one.
The star of the show here is the combination of buttery croissants with that bowl of rich, swirly Nutella sitting right alongside a bowl of deep red jam. Add in some perfectly halved hard-boiled eggs, a little rosette of avocado, red grapes, sliced strawberries, and apple slices, and you’ve got a spread that feels like you really went all out, even though it comes together in about fifteen minutes.
What You’ll Need
- Croissants (store-bought is totally fine!)
- Hard-boiled eggs, halved and seasoned with salt and pepper
- Avocado, sliced or rosette-shaped
- Red grapes
- Strawberries
- Apple slices
- A bowl of jam
- A bowl of Nutella
- A wooden board or large serving platter
How To Build It
Start by placing your bowls of jam and Nutella on the board first, these act as your anchors. Arrange the croissants in a loose arc along one side, then tuck in the halved eggs near the center. Fill in with your fruit, grouping colors together for the prettiest look. Add your avocado last so it stays fresh. A little sprinkle of flaky salt over the eggs and avocado makes it feel extra special.
Pro tip: Make your hard-boiled eggs and slice your fruit the night before so morning assembly is quick and stress-free. Everything comes together in just a few minutes when the prep is already done.

Egg Carton Charcuterie Board
Okay, this one might be my favorite just for the sheer cleverness of it. An egg carton. A regular, cardboard egg carton. Turned into the most adorable little charcuterie tray you’ve ever seen. It’s also great for on the go!
This is the one people did not see coming, and it went completely wild on Instagram. It’s perfect for Easter, perfect for gifting, perfect for a little individual snack situation at a party. Each little egg cup holds something different, grapes, cheese, crackers, walnuts, a salami rose, Lindt Lindor chocolates, and the whole thing just looks incredibly intentional and sweet.
What You’ll Need
- A clean cardboard egg carton (a 6-egg carton works perfectly)
- Green grapes
- Cheese, cut into small wedges or triangles
- Crackers
- Walnuts or mixed nuts
- Deli salami (for rolling into a rose)
- Lindt Lindor chocolates
- Optional: a pink ribbon for the outside of the carton
How To Build It
Open your egg carton and decide what goes in each cup. I like to think of it as filling a little gift box, you want a mix of savory, sweet, crunchy, and fresh. Tuck the grapes in one cup, crackers in another, nuts in another. For the salami rose, layer two or three slices of salami on a flat surface, overlap them slightly, and roll them up together, then stand the rose upright in its cup. Drop in a few Lindor chocolates and you’re done. Tie a ribbon around the outside for gifting and it looks absolutely charming.
Pro tip: These are great for parties because they are customizable. They’re also a great activity to do with kids, build your own snack!

Easter Charcuterie Board
Save the best for last, this one is the showstopper. A bunny-shaped board absolutely loaded with all the good things: salami roses, creamy brie, wedges of cheddar, dark and red grapes, fresh strawberries, pecans, the most adorable little Easter animal crackers, and a tiny bowl of golden honey with a honey dipper right in the center.
It looks like it took hours. It did not take hours. That’s the beauty of a good board, it gives you maximum wow with minimum effort, and everyone at the table feels a little spoiled.
What You’ll Need
- A bunny-shaped charcuterie board (this is the star — options linked below!)
- Brie, sliced into wedges
- Cheddar, sliced into wedges
- Salami (for rolling into roses)
- Dark grapes and red grapes
- Strawberries
- Pecans
- Easter animal crackers
- A small bowl of honey + a honey dipper
How To Build It
Place your honey bowl in the center of the board first, it’s your anchor. Add the brie wedges and cheddar around it. Roll your salami roses (layer, overlap, and roll, same technique as the egg carton board!) and nestle them in for color. Fill in the remaining space with grapes, strawberries, and pecans, working from the center outward. Tuck the Easter animal crackers into any gaps, add a few sprigs of fresh mint, and you’re done.
Pro tip: Mix your grape colors, dark purple and bright red together look so beautiful and add a lot of depth to the board. And don’t skip the honey. It pairs beautifully with both the brie and the cheddar and adds that little wow-factor touch.
